ZERO TO THREE

Working to advance the field that benefits
the nation's youngest children.

Zero to Three's mission is to promote the healthy development of the nation's infants and toddlers by supporting and strengthening families, communities, and those who work on their behalf. Together with professionals in the early childhood development, as well as with parents, Zero to Three works to advance the field that benefits the nation's youngest children.

At Zero to Three, you will find everything from publications and reference guides to programs, projects and professional developmental services.

  • Center for Program Excellence. A consultation service offering training, technical assistance, and resources for childcare, early intervention, and other early childhood programs.
  • Early Head Start National Resource Center. A resource center coordinating national training and technical assistance for EHS programs across the country.
  • Learning & Growing Together Strategic Initiative. A comprehensive training program that combines reflective practice and self-awareness for staff development, and particularly for establishing strong and effective relationships with parents.
  • National Infant & Toddler Child Care Initiative. A project of the Child Care Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services designed to support State and Territory Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) administrators in their efforts to effect system-wide improvements in infant and toddler child care.
